What we're watching for are the overlooked, unclaimed spaces of a city — and the "I want to try this" feeling just beginning to take root there. So that first step can be taken naturally, we're building systems, somewhere between research and practice, that redesign the relationship between people and place.

We don't have a perfect system yet. There's no single right answer. We're not a large organization split into clearly defined job titles and positions. Our policies and our way of evaluating people are still being built.
Even so, there aren't many companies that pair analysis grounded in urban planning research with designing, running, and building products for their own places. Moving back and forth between research and practice, you get to witness a city actually change.
Specialists in architecture and urban development make up roughly half our team; technology experts make up the other half. Urban planning firms tend to lean toward the physical side, and urban tech startups toward the digital side — we hold both.
Analysis results flow straight into design; spaces we design end up embedded in our products. Being close enough to reach across disciplines is this company's defining trait.
We have the analysis, the design, and the product — but haven't reached everyone who needs them. This role builds that connection.
This role turns what our analysis reveals into spaces people can actually use — carrying through from design to seeing how it's run afterward.
This role layers area data to visualize a place's potential.
First-Class Architect, Second-Class Architect, Managing Architect, or Certified Real Estate Transaction Manager (Takken). We warmly welcome anyone holding these qualifications, regardless of the role you apply for. Because we handle everything in-house from design through real estate, a qualification directly expands what you can do here. Those currently working toward one are welcome too.
Even if you don't fit any of the above, please reach out if you're interested. Rather than filling roles we've already defined, we're still at the stage of shaping roles around the people who join us.
Our head office is FUKUOKA NORTH PORT — a co-creation hub built by reviving a building more than 50 years old, where we handled everything ourselves, from planning to spatial design to operations. The partitions are kept low: seated, you can't quite meet someone's eyes; stand up, and faces come naturally into view. It's built so that focus and chance conversation can both happen in the same space.
We weigh whether these three resonate with you more heavily than your résumé or qualifications.
Someone finds a little courage and starts something. Moments like that are what change a city's scenery. Will you help build the point where that chain of change begins? Let's start with an informal conversation.
